Product Overview
The Dynisco PT4624-3.5M-6/18-SIL2 is a lower-range two-wire melt-pressure transmitter with a nominal pressure range of 0 to 3,500 psi and a 4-20 mA output. It is intended for processes where a lower full-scale range can provide more useful pressure resolution than 5,000 or 10,000 psi versions.
The device uses a rigid sensing stem and flexible capillary to separate the electronics housing from the high-temperature process area. The SIL2 suffix identifies a safety-oriented configuration, subject to validation within the complete control and safety system.

Lower-Range Application Notes
A lower pressure range can improve control resolution when the process normally operates below 3,500 psi. The selection must still provide adequate margin for startup peaks, blocked-screen conditions and process disturbances. The model should not replace a higher-range transmitter without confirming actual maximum pressure.
